    Good morning

its been a bit busy here but now feel well prepared for the first of the family arriving on Wednesday.

the icy conditions have made life treacherous so just got in with things in the kitchen.   Ore frost today

you sounds as if you are all getting Christmassy too, I love carols. Clari hope you get sorted soon, just remember dont mix the pills and the booze!

today is our Christmas doggie visit hopefully the road will be ok, it's very rural and gritters don't go

    have a good day

Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.”

Hope your roads turn out to be ok, LilyP.  Our met office forecast says it's +1C at the moment; it's minus 2.4 in the garden... but at least the sheet ice has melted.  The boiler engineer, deterred by the ice last week, is promising to come on Wednesday.  We'll hope for the best!

It feels as if I've been up for half the day... woke at 4.20 and couldn't get back to sleep for a long while, not until paracetamols had eased the aches in my back and arms.  Strange virus gave me a cough & sore throat, and now a one-sided headache and pains in the limbs.  image

Still, plenty to do for the visitors still, so I'll get on with it...

    Morning all.

Liri , I was up at 4.30 too. I empathise.

Pat, I'll gladly have your 39C , you can have the horrid dank , fog and the saturated ground which you can't work on.
