Punkdoc - I'm sorry, I hadn't understood what the problem was until you posted that. You and your BH must be devastated. Never mind 'tired and emotional', 'shattered and depressed' wouldn't cover it. But sympathetic words from strangers can't help you. I just hope the news from the blood tests gives you something to hold on to.

I knew it was serious, but not to that point. But who knows how long life will be? Some people live far longer than expected. Just try to enjoy something everyday, this is where a good relationship with a partner can help. Will the breathlessness get better in time?

Think I'll have one of Dove's hot toddies, but not the one with cream, much as I'd like it. Why do colds feel worse in the evening just when you think they were so much better during the day?

Punk you can say whatever you need on this forum. You know we understand.

I'm curled up in bed with the hound and The Goon Show on the radio. Not one for the likes of Children in Need.

Oh course the nose tap has been turned on so laying down is proving tricky. It's grim! And to make things worse the dog keeps pinching my tissues. Ewwww!!

  • Pdoc ((hugs)) if I can whInge about my knees you can certainly have a bit of a moan about being right poorly. Probably easier to moan here than anywhere else. You have a moan and a bit of a rant and we'll do our best to try to cheer you up - or will that be reeeeeeeeeally annoying? (( hugs)).

Hope those with colds manage to keep them to themselves and hope everyone has a peaceful and restful night. image

Hello everyone. Punkdoc already knows he has any amount of support from me.image

weve had 44 mm rain. The dam is overflowing (amazing), the river has widened to the banks instead of a trickle in the middle, skies are grey - can’t think what else to say, but yippee! image

Ive just picked a large bunch of parsley and plonked it in a few large glasses on the kitchen bench. I’ve found that if I put it right under his nose, Hubby uses it when preparing our meals. Love the smell and flavour.

Havent heard from Chicky for a while, but she might be in areas where there is no signal.

    Morning all.

I was so knackered yesterday I ended up in bed at 8.15. Payback is that I've now been awake since 2am.

I've managed to kick the woodburner back into life which is very satisfying.

Hosta hugs for Punkdoc and Mrs P too.

I had the woodchip guys here yesterday and their ex colleague , who moved to Oz with his new wife, is..... coming home!!!!!!!! They moved to Melbourne area with the aim of buying a camper and travelling around until they settle somewhere, but he says " it's just the same as here" so they're moving back. image

We’ve been out the back of our place this afternoon to see what has happened with the downpour. I’ll put some photos on the other site.

    Morning all

    *sniffle*

Hard to think a week a go I was just waking up from a glamerous evening my ball gown hanging on the wardrobe, content in the knowledge we'd raised TWENTY ONE THOUSAND POUNDS.

Oh wait. Ball gown is still hanging up on the wardrobe. Must get that washed!!

His lordship has joined in with the sneezing; so any hopes of him looking after me or at least the dog....

Hi Clair, I was wondering how you were going. I hope you can get over it soon. Have you got lots of Vittamin C?
