Lovely clouds Pat. I like a moody sky. Can't see ours - it's miserable out there. Frosty start again, but the forecast was rain/sleet, and it's lived up to that
I totally agree with r'girl about weddings/funerals. Weddings are overrated anyway
I'm making a list of songs for mine (funeral, not wedding) It's quite long - think youngest is getting very nervous....
They were talking about people's last words before dying on JV on Radio2 today. Some lovely stories. I think if I had a choice it would be Spike Milligan's famous headstone quote 'I told you I was ill'.....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
............ As for the wedding ... although they only live in the next countryI was unaware of the young lady's existence until the engagement was announced ...

I think I'd opt for HG Wells - "go away, I'm alright" Mum had a book with lots of epitaphs, some of which were hilarious. One of them was "His foot it slipped and he did fall. 'Help! help!' he cried and that was all" Mum's favourite was "I stand not here on feet and toes, I'm in the air and up your nose"
I thought I'd ask for 'Good Riddance' to be played at my funeral

“It's still magic even if you know how it's done.”
Gets me every time, and by the time he reaches ' to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free'....well, that's me a sobbing, quivering wreck...

Pat ... my theory is that if you keep your upholstery well stuffed it doesn't go wrinkly and saggy
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Love the H.G.Wells quote!
I want Dylan's own version of Mr Tambourine Man.
" I'm ready to go anywhere,
I'm ready for to fade
Into my own parade
Cast your dancing spell my way
I promise to go under it "
