Is he that easily fooled Obelixx?image

Been bellow freezing all day, but beautifully sunny. If all winter days were like this, it would be fab.

Snow is forecast for tonight, will be a good excuse for a w/e watching rugby and cricket.

Hope you are ok. fairy, if you are looking in.

  • Do you need an excuse for a weekend watching rugby and cricket in December Pdoc ? ... it seems a very civilised way for a chap (and chappesses too) to pass the time and stay out of mischief image

Pdoc - what he doesn't see and all that.  Too late to moan tomorrow.

No excuses needed for indulging in rugby and cricket.  OH does and endless golf too.   I have a TV in the kitchen so I can escape and another with a DVD player in my sewing room so he can hog the big screen if he must - as long as any ironing gets done.

I hope you managed to get outside and enjoy the sun today.  Very cheering if you can - and every little helps.

    Evening all.

Hot and very humid today and hazy sun.

A guy has just checked in at reception. Thomas Cook have just landed from Manchester missing a lot of luggage and they can't get it here for 3 days. oops.

Evening all - apologies for not being here, but it's nice to have been missed  image

Hand/wrist been sore again, (that's what I get for doing walk reports on walkhighland image) then the 'pooter was running slower than a week in the jail, so I gave up.

Think we've had every type of weather here in the last week except thunder and lightning! Snowed nearly all morning here, so at least it got above zero for a while,  but after the biblical rain at the start of the week, it was never going to lie. Car was all frozen this morning - lovely patterns on it. It's zero now, but the roads have been gritted so it's all good.  Don't think Hosta will be wanting to trade temps any time soon  image

Good to see you doc - watching some sport is perfectly fine at any time.

I will try to read back a bit - but I doubt I'll manage it. I will reply to messages though - I promise.

Good to see you FG.   My 'pooter doesn't run slow but, oh my, th'internet can be snail mail.

Hosta - Not good for th enew arrivals but I guess they don't need many clothes for lying round the pool.

We have had some rain!   Not a lot, but enough to disgruntle two clean, dry, furry pussies who aren't used to it and got caught out.

Cheers folks - just one of those things. Getting old  image

I know people moan a bit about the photo thing on here, but it's a breeze compared to that walking site. It's a real faff doing pix, but I feel guilty that I use other people's reports so much, and don't contribute any very often.

We could have piped over plenty of rain to you Obelixx. I'm sure that shirty robin I have was building an ark on Tuesday....

Hi everyone. So relieved that Fairy is ok. I was worried that she’d slipped off a mountain.

Having a lazy start today. Predicted rain didn’t arrive and clear blue skies now. Nothing new there.
