Dove - you forgot "stupid, thoughtless, self-serving". I could go on but there's a whole parcel of that type in the Labour party too and the SNP and Northern Ireland parties and Wales and the whole darn tooting of them.
No better in Belgium. Haven't got the hang of French politics and personalities yet.

It's the problem when so many of them are career politicians ... ambition and power ... dangerous bedfellows.
I was prepared to give your MP the benefit of the doubt Pdoc ... sadly I was mistaken. I've been a LibDem all my life but this year I voted tactically and voted Labour for the first time ever ... now the chap I voted for is under suspicion.

Evening all. Been 'double busy' (Micky Flanagan) last couple of days so just catching up!
Hope all with worries are keeping strong and that everyone is warm and cosy tonight.
We talked about MRI scans a few weeks back and I eventually had mine last night (yes - 7:30 pm!). The radiographer was pleasant, professional and reassuring (top work NHS staff) but the actual scan was not something I ever wish to repeat! The cheesy music playing on the headphones had no chance competing with the jack-hammer sound effect the machine makes! I did point out to the staff that it's a good job the scanner is so loud because the music was awful (in retrospect, I expect they hear that comment twenty times a day)!

Sadly Obelixx, I am well aquainted with my local MP, as I campaigned for him. He was the first Labour MP. ever elected in our constituency.
Now he is suspended.

Pdoc - did you take him on faith or did you meet him and not spot he is a toe-rag?
Dove - I have to think people who stand as Lib Dems are not exactly power hungry. Not realistically anyway but that's a whole other ball game.
Better go and do dinner now and then see that Cosmos pussy about a new sock.
Our last MP was a Lib Dem Obelixx ... but as it's a university constituency he lost his seat after the coalition

I have met him a few times and am a Party member, so attend some local meetings.
Certainly did not think his past / present would turn out the way it has.
Very difficult to keep the faith anymore, think you just have to give up on Party politics and just try to support ideas you believe in.
Easier to think about than your own health though.

That's true democracy I suppose.

No work tomorrow so catch you all then.
