All sorts of stuff stuck in the hindbrain Rgirl ... One day it'll all come pouring out ... We'll know what we mean but everyone else will think we're bonkers
Time for bed said Zebedee ...

Hi Dove. I’m sure that all these clock changes muck us up.
I witnessed a Barn Owl swoop down and grab a Jacky Lizard in its beak and fly away at great speed, this afternoon. I was really taken aback. We hear them sometimes, but have never seen them. I thought they were nocturnal, but I might be wrong.
Finished Jane Eyre - I’m in the ”loved it” camp Got David Copperfield to read on the plane, along with lots of other more trashy chick lit ......I’ve got a lot of hours to fill, and Mr C is not much of a conversationalist
I remember Roger Whittaker rgirl .....but its the one about leaving old durham town that sticks with me (is that different from the last farewell I wonder - might be the same thing ). Sunday lunchtimes with a steamy kitchen and Mum listening to family favourites whilst she cooked the roast is a strong memory
Pat Over here owls will hunt in daylight if they're raising chicks or after a period of heavy nighttime rain when they've been unable to hunt. Don't s'pose the latter cause applies in your case.

Love Barn Owls Pat ?. We only have Tawnys here (in fact I can hear them screeching and woo hooing out there now)......but we see Barn Owls when we go to Norfolk, nearly always in the late afternoon. I don’t think they are quite as nocturnal as some of the others.
Thanks for yesterdays top tips btw....really useful

Evening all.
I have to confess, I've never read any work by Dickens, the Brontes or Jane Austen .
Peace, perfect peace. Trying to explain to my Oh what Mindfulness is. This is it!

So have read them, but it’s so long ago that I can’t really recall much of them.
Lilyp, very nice. Very restful.
Good morning all
G'day Pat
I'm awake ... My bodyclock seems to have reverted to pre retirement mode
