We had a good day. Went to Harleston and Beccles for a look round and OH had his hair cut.

The murder mystery evening was great fun. We had a glass of bubbly to start with and the cast of the mystery joined us and introduced themselves as their parts in it. During the meal they acted out the tensions between them, and the story, which was about 2 sisters and who was going to own the antique shop when one of them retired. There were 3 murders and the actors dropped clues as they acted their parts. Our table thought there were 2 murderers and I thought one of them was not the one that the others thought. The answer was that a sister did it, I was wrong but she was one of the two that the rest of the table thought. I thought she was too obvious.

I won the Christmas cake in the tombola. Can't take it back on Ryanair so I'm donating it to the church bazaar tomorrow for a guess the weight of the cake competition.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Sounds like good fun BusyL.

Ive been out with hoses this morning and have given up now. It’s 30c out there. Trouble is that when I come inside, I start sweating all over with the temp change inside.image

they keep predicting rain, but apart from that couple of miles two days ago, just threats.

    sleep wel all.

The old Wallaby is back. He’s discovered my Jane McGrath rose flowers.

We‘ve got thunder, lightning and dark clouds again. It’ll be interesting to see if it delivers some of the good stuff. image

Quite, Dove. Oh well, the roses wilt after a few days anyway, so he mught as well enjoy them. image

We had some heavy rain with the thunder and lightning, but haven’t been out to check the amount yet. Tomorrow morning I will.

Morning Dove /afties Pat - sorry if I worried you image

Might be a bit slippy on the hills today though   - fair old dump of snow on them all now.

I have some coffee on the go if you want a cup Dove. Unusual for me, but I've put the heating back on and thought I'd make a pot.

The birds may want to come in for a warm up too - slight differenece in your temps and mine Pat - it's still below zero here. Been out to break the ice on the pond again  image

Wonder what chicky is up to today?

There’s a few things on in Sydney today, so she might have done some of those. I’m not sure how long they’ll be there, though.

im so glad to see you back, Fairy. I hope your wrists settle down.

i know 30 degrees sounds good, but not good for me trying to get some work done outside.
