I would like Fairport Convention "who knows where the time goes?"  But not for a while yet

Dove, thank you for your tip on Thyroid replacement meds. Gp was super and we have reached a very fair compromise as long as I get bloods checked every three months

Joyce sadly the property market in London is really slow just now. Daughters flat is on the market. Fortunately down there estate agents do the showing as my daughter is returning to work in the new year this will help. Everyone is coming here for Christmas including the dogs!

  • LilyP ... glad that helped image  I've got my blood test on Wednesday morning.  They'll do cholesterol and my BP at the same time so I'll have an early supper and just water or black decaff in the evening image

    Evening all.

Sorry you had sad news Hosta.

Just had a message to say my niece learned about World Kindness Day in school today - I didn't know about that (it's today apparently).

We thought we'd donate our bodies to science/medicine.  What's left after that can be cremated and scattered.  No epitaph needed.   Nor music.   However, whilst in Bilbao, Possum says she's not keen so might have to find a plan B.

Productive day today.  Patchwork/craft project day and we have made a card holder for 24 cards - credit, debit, club etc.   Nice day with some very kind and funny ladies.  As I was setting off we had a call from bulldozer man to say he was on his way.  6 months we've been waiting and the perisher decides he's free today so quick instructions to OK about what has to be cleared and where to dump the gubbins.   Got home to find it's a baby bulldozer/digger after all and he's coming back tomorrow to finish.  Too late to inspect or take photos.

Hosta - enjoy your hols and support sis afterwards.  Good advice from RG.

LP - sounds like a lovely Xmas hols coming up for you.

Clari - nightmare.  However do you stay sane?

    Busy - home safe?

Must be nearly time for bed.   Sweet dreams all.

Hello, yes home safe, thanks. Long drive, took it slowly. Quiet evening with OH, thought I'd leave posting until tomorrow. But now I'm here (popped in before bed) I'll read back.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hadn't read back properly, wondered why the funeral link was there. Sorry Hosta remiss of me not to send condolences.  It's hard when old pals leave us

Obelixx I understand your sentiments but I think after our last breath our family should take over. Just my experience.

poor Busy hope she is home soon, sniffles and all. The little ones can give such Big Germs!

Aunty Rach I had heard it was world kindness day but the guy behind me in a well known superstore this afternoon hadn't!

    Night night all
