Evening all hope everyone is well. Have been busy babysitting Jonah over the last few days. First and Secondborn have now broken up for the hols so babysitting will be minimal over the next few weeks, especially as firstborn has gone on hols for 3 weeks.
Managed to get some gardening done today in between the showers. Potted up an Acer and also purchased a Pheasant Berry shrub. No idea where I'm going to put it, as usual.
That and the bloody conservatory Joyce 21, Hubby had a good look at it today, 2 of the glazing bars havent had the plastic covers put over them, they still havent replaced the roof (glass ) panel they broke. They put the dog flap on upside down, guy unscrewed and turn it round on Tuesday, BUT it was curved on end flat the other, so now theres a bit gap round the top it looks awful I understood they were coming back Wednesday to finnish, they have left "stuff" here, I assume the plastic covers for the roof bars. On the plus side (there HAS to be one!) it does look a whole lot better than the 25 year old plastic roof, is a lot quieter, both the roof and the side panels/indows.

HI Yvie. Good to see you popping in. Showers this way please.
Hello Fairy and Yvie
Youll have to excuse me ... I'm falling asleep in front of an old Doc Martin
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
My neighbour has gone away for three days and left me in charge of his plants
Does that count as babysitting?
Yes and plants don't cry when they are hungry or thirsty. . . .

Sleep tight Dove - oh, you're probably snoozing by now....
Think I'd better go to my pit too. Daighter didn't finish till 9.45 and she has to be back there for 7am. They're seriously taking the p*ss now
You'll find a space somewhere Yvie
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
NB, I'm glad there is a plus side
NB - don't tell them there's a plu side. Just concentrate on what they've got wrong which seems like quite a lot. Do not pay final bill till happy!
FG - are they paying her for all the hours?
Off to bed myself now. Hope everyone gets a good night's sleep, especially the ones who tend to the insomniac side of life.
Hello all
hello Glenys. Interesting that you've had the same rain as us.
