Congrats LP- and a lovely name. If you're going to pick an island, it's one of the best after all
I had a friend with two boys called Harris and Lewis
Rain has gone off after a miserable, dreich morning. At least it wasn't too cold - mid teens or thereabouts just now. I may go and do summat. There are slabs to shift which I've been putting off. Looking promising for a walk tomorrow though - thinking of heading up the other side of Aviemore to do a Munro I've had my eye on for a while.
Cherries sound a good prezzie to me....
B3 - the old ones are the best, although I know the answer as 'penicillin'
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I'm all weeded out, shan't weed another thing until the autumn! Well, maybe in Norfolk when we go to the cottage on the 17th.
Have bought the soft drinks and milk for the Open Day and chicken and salad lunch for the helpers. Need to make another cake. Tidy up and set out tables for teas tomorrow. I shall think of DD, her first tea shop day tomorrow and my Open Day on Sunday.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
His lordships birthday here; we've collected his new car, had lunch at Ikea (I know how to spoil a man!) and brought a few items that of course had to squeeze into my little car rather than risk his!
Now I'm just drumming up the energy to make the cherry ice cream, trifle, and birthday cake for tomorrow's BBC.

I'll have the 8 kilo box if you're ordering thanks Dove. I could live on cherries...and liquorice toffee!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Congrats Lilyp for the family.
Apparently cherries are good if you have gout so I have read. No sunshine today much cooler.
Antibiotics, Dove
For the man who has everything.

Great news, LilyP!
OH and I enjoyed your "musical" offerings, thank you Dove and Pat.
It's gone very dark here. I'm glad I picked the raspberries this morning...
Congratulations to Skye, her Mummy and Lily P.

Oh and tidy the house.
So quiet here this afternoon. Was it a good gardening day? Hot here 33° after lunch. Too hot to make cakes, shall do it tomorrow. Been watering.
