Morning all.....apologies for my rant last evening....probably brought on in part by the discovery of a nice Malbec in our local Metro store. I've had the regulation 5-6 hours sleep ....we have our teenage goddaughter and her friend staying with us over the weekend ....they seem to sleep foreverimage

Hi Dachalover. I'm not sure what the time is in Moscow but it's nearly 2pm here. image

Its sunny here but the predicted strong winds have arrived and it's cold outside, so as usual I'm sitting inside near the wood heater. (Colouring in my books)

    Morning Pat and Dacha.

Dacha, most teenagers don't really surface before mid-day

Cheers Joyce ....but the two charming young ladies staying with us.....slept most of the way in the car yesterday interspersed with killing the bandwidth of the mobile wi-fi , which is very inexpensive in Russia.......also let them loose with their own trolley in Metro which culminated in a till receipt which resembled an unfurled toilet roll image you gotta love them image

They're lovely when they're sleeping - eh Dacha? image

Morning Joyce/afties Pat. You could do witht that log burner of Dacha's for backup I expect!

Another oppressive, leaden skied day here. Think I was lucky weather wise  yesterday, all things considered.

She should do Obelixx -  one of those situations where the manager takes unexpected holiday, and there aren't enough workers  image

I've gathered that Hosta's had some issues with his pond. I expect the excessive rain hasn't helped.

NBeach - I'd agree with Joyce - no final payment until everything is to your satisfaction.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Good morning all image  It looks a lovely day to come ...  a bright blue sky with white fluffies ... The newspaper man has delivered in this road and the neighbours carer has arrived  ... now all is quiet again apart from the cooing and clattering of wings from the wood pigeons  ...

i hope Hosta's bank is still in place ...
