    Here you are Wonky

    "Repairing the Leak

Before getting started, let the pool dry completely before attempting to patch a leak, as moisture can prevent the glue from drying properly. Once the pool is dry, clean the surface with some rubbing alcohol and an old rag.

To repair a hole or small tear with duct tape, cut a piece of tape to cover the hole. Apply a layer of super glue to the entire sticky side of the tape. Apply the duct tape patch to the hole and hold it down until the glue starts to set. Before using the pool, make sure to let the glue dry completely. If a pool owner is using a repair kit, they can most likely find a self-adhesive patch. Typically, the self-adhesive patch needs to be trimmed to the proper size before the applying it to the hole."

Hey Clari! image what's this I hear about you having visible legs!?!  What with being without a washing machine for three weeks and playing laundry catchup now, I'm used to sporting shorts, scruffy teenage boys t-shirts...(can't get any female ones that don't have slits in the shoulders... Fashion! image ) and mud....and here's you flouncing round in dresses!?! Whatever next! image

    See original post

I've found the perfect flounce type pinifores Wonky! Smart enough to look like a proper manager all professional yet short enough that they don't impede my scaling a wall the other day to rescue a car when a tree branch had fallen on it like the true tom boy I am (the ladies who had come to see their friends car were however horrified).

I can't master the lady like bending down however; I'm just going to have to invest in some comedy pants.

Also; the breeze is rather nice while digging in the garden. Somehow you can "fluff" ones pinifores to direct the air where it is required.

Poor Flatter! I have visions of him being hit by a tidal wave and going down with his pirate ship.

23 is too hot for me too. We had a weekend of that, or more, recently and I was hopeless. I'm better with 13 as well  image

Any food left Clari? I couldn't be bothered having dinner when I got in - had toast and a banana, and lots of tea.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Flatters had wandered off totally unaware of his actions consequences! He will know something is amiss when he wades through the soggy lawn!

Thanks for the repair advice Dove! I'm gonna give it a go! image maybe not until the heat at work drives me to it though...so probably Monday! image

I can't do the ladylike bending C**p either Clari! Sticking to shorts now I have brown legs for the first time in 41 years! Yes its mud.....but when I wash that off I'm still brown! Liking the sound of those pinafore dresses though....with a pair of funky trainers! image

Fairy; help yourself. It's very salmon and cheese heavy!

Fairy, there's plenty of smoked salmon, asparagus and caugette quiche left here if you fancy?

Wonky; I've never had brown legs. I think I must scrub too hard!

Trainers are a must. I have self imposed semsible shoes only so will usually be found in my merrels (much comfy) or Sketchers (declared smart).

Trainers or Clark's ankle jodper boots for me only! Don't do female feet unless really posh do...which luckily I'm rarely invited to! I did go out last Friday as hubby had a DJ gig in town at some nightclub...haven't been out in years! We just have party's in our basement. Opted for brouge flat shoes and mini dress, comfy, cool and good for dancing! Did some people watching and the pain/concentration on some of the girls faces trying to stay on their high heels without breaking their ankles/necks was painful/comical to watch!
