Cheyngel - remember to soak its roots first.  What kind of shop?   Will it be fun?

Dove - not flat here either but it is nearer the coast.  The Dutch holidaymakers should feel at home there.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

    Thanks for the reminder!

It's a comic book type geeky shop, technically she's in charge but she's quite nervous and since the owner likes me in sure he won't object to me helping her - she does have anxiety after all!

I should have stopped OH setting off for the city on his bike ... the heavens have opened and I've had to come indoors ... just had time to roughly weed the fruit patch and around the courgettes ... and found that the newest courgettes have been tasted by slugs Grrrrrr   I shall be out there tonight!!!  Perhaps a Slug Pub is needed!

Cheyngel  - hope the shop-minding goes well ... sounds just the sort of place my OH and his mates could happily spend several hours in image

OH and Possum have got into comic books too - very Belgian to read "bandes dessinées".   I have a friend in Belgium with an entire room lined with made to measure shelves for his collection.   They have an annual festival in Angoulême where lots of the walls have cartoon murals.

Snails here Dove.  Greedy beggars so maybe OH should donate some beer for a wee pub too.

Well, the rain stopped so I went outside again ... finished summer pruning the grapevine, rough-weeded the herb bed, cut down the foxgloves that I'd selected and allowed to ripen seed, and swished them where I want them, picked some more sweet peas ............... and the heavens opened again ......... but 'I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue' is on so I'll stop for lunch ...image

Rain came on here while I was  collecting daughter from work Dove - fortunately, the washing was mostly dry anyway.

Some lunch needed then I'll decide if it's dry enough to do anything worthwhile outside. That slab lifting still needs doing...image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
