Well, I rushed through the shopping, and have read the words of the most difficult song... but it was too lovely a day not to be in the garden. The grass is cut, rampant roses tamed, and the worst of the weeds have gone. And I'm happy.
Joyce - yes, I find soldanella seeds germinate like mustard & cress, if sown fresh.
Lovely to see you, Wonky. Your garden sounds wonderful - photos please!
Welcome back, Dachalover. Glad the back is so much better. Personally I'm happier at 13 degrees than at 30... it was 23 today, which is definitely hot enough for me!
Glad you had a good walk, Fairy, and got home ok. It's distressing being close to an accident like that though - hope those involved weren't too badly hurt.
The sun's going down here rather beautifully too, GWRS...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Update on my paddling pool....found Flatters perched on edge dipping in paws, slipped, I heard a sort of piercing pop sound as he gained purchase with claws... went out later to water the garden, no need to do the lawn...pool deflated or de Flattered even!
Hey Clari! what's this I hear about you having visible legs!?! What with being without a washing machine for three weeks and playing laundry catchup now, I'm used to sporting shorts, scruffy teenage boys t-shirts...(can't get any female ones that don't have slits in the shoulders... Fashion! ) and mud....and here's you flouncing round in dresses!?! Whatever next!

Guests suitably stuffed with food have now departed.
Clarington stuffed with food now laid out in the floor of the lounge stretching my back into some kind of normal layout.
The weight of my belly isn't helping!
*waves at Wonky*
Nanny Beach watched Hampton Court on TV , it looked very interesting, I trust you enjoyed it
