Rain was meant to be later Joyce - I'd hoped to get the washing dry before that, but.....image

    Good morning all image

Flying visit late last night from son on his way home from successful gig at Lord Mayors celebrations. Then we just fell into bed and listened to Paul Jambikini. ... You lot were chatting late.

Now I'm on my second coffee and heading for the shower ...

Hope BL has  good  weather for her open garden day. I think she said it didn't look promising, but I may have dreamt that  image

Morning Dove. Best not to take the coffee in there with you - it dilutes it a bit...and makes it too frothy....

Morning all!  Afternoon Pat... what time is it in Moscow, Dachalover?

That doesn't look much like maples we grow in Britain... but you could start a separate ID thread & see if anyone recognises it.  A photo of the bark could help too.  image

I like "Paul Jambikini", Dove.  Not heard that one before!  image

It's just overcast and 'hing-y' now LP. I think the washing may come back in just as wet as it was when it went out!

Plap - polite version of sh**e really image

I think DD might well be lying down in a darkened room by now....image

Hope it went well for her. I'm sure she'll drop in and let us know how it all went.

Thanks, Dachalover.  My hubby taught English in Ekaterinburg for several weeks at a time, over a number of years.  I think there it was +4 or 5...

I guess DD won't be able to lie for long in her darkened room, if she's opening again today!  Hope she has plenty of help.
