Clari -  I did Nigella Lawsons meatballs using sausage meat yesterday.  Very good and served with pasta.

Nigel Slater's belly pork with 5 piece for dinner today.   Very tasty but I'll omit the salt from the marinade next time.

Having come in out of the rain - yes to mixing golf with sprinkler Joyce - I sewed Possum's new top while the belly roasted slowly, not as per recipe.   Now for another glass of wine and a quiet evening.

Busy - what a shame about the rose garden.  Never did see the point of a garden full of the kind that only flower once.  I'd have thought feeding, cleaning and mulching was basic care too.

Possum is a Capricorn and has our week's activities mapped out for us.  I like to be organised but also like spontaneity.  Dare say I'll cope.

Hosta; but if you retired you'd have to spend ALL day with your hubby. Are you ready for that?

So long as he'd not expect a spik and span house, dinner on the table when he got home, everything master of the house style... because gardening takes longer than you think!

Gardening is one of the most rewarding activities though!
