Ive had a rotten day. Gastric and vomiting since 7am. In between sleeping etc, have had sips of water. Hubby just made me one of those drinks that replace essential elements.
Never mind, I think I'll be back in bed before long.
really upset that Richie Porte has crashed and broken pelvis and shoulder. That's the end of my Australian champ in this year's Tour de France.
Well done DD. It sounds like you have a success on your hands. Lots of hard work but Oh so satisfying.
I hope the forkers trip to Kew goes well today. I am still cream crackered from my walk around Much Wenlock. Hubby spied a water mill in an estate agents window. It just needs several hundred thousand spending on it. It doesn't even have windows in. No we are not buying a money pit. Even if it does have the mill pond and five acres.
Pat ... back to bed with you - lots of rest and keep the fluids up - get well very soon ((hugs))
Hazel hello
Chicky ... hope both Chicklets have lovely adventures Hope you have a lovely adventure at Kew today too ... very envious
Fidget ... fight against the water mill ... my uncle and aunt bought and renovated a water mill ... it was absolutely wonderful ... but they didn't stay there long ... aunt found that the constant sound of running water had an unfortunate effect upon a 27 year old lady's plumbing
Pdoc ... as you've got your gardening togs on could you pop down here and do some mowing, edging and a bit of general tidying ... we've got wall to wall sunshine
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
... am off (at vast expense) to get a second opinion on my eye. Hospital last week was not good, he talked about the wrong eye then gave me some drops so I "felt like I was leaving with something"!!!
Hope you get to see someone helpful LilyP ((hugs))

I've just spoken with the estate agent and our tenants are moving out.
They're paying the rent up to the end of their 6 month contract if we don't find someone to move in before that date.
They've also agreed to pay the Agents' "finding fee" for them to find us new tenants.
I am virtually 100% certain they've been smoking in there,( against tenancy agreement) so they might well have to pay for total repainting too and carpet shampooing.
Hosta ... how annoying!!! But they're young .......... they'll grow up eventually, with any luck
I'm back from the Fracture Clinic ... they're happy with my foot so have signed me off ... the consultant gave my knee a thorough going over, bending it every which way and couldn't find any reason why it should just give way from time to time ... he will write to my GP recommending a Knee Specialist she can refer me to.
Now I need to have some lunch and see if the car starts ...
