Heavy evening....MIL...brought out some samogonka ( poteen as we used to call it in Ireland) which was presented to her at a funeral in Samara.... because I did not attend the tradition is that it is brought back to me as a present and we have to toast to the deceased ......but when you toast it is forbidden to clink your glasses .......

I have a spider plant, two ornamental millets, something green and a tiny nasturtium which has just sprouted a week ago - also a red sunflower outside on the steps leading up to the flats!
Yes Lily ....I am just recovering from a night of unbelievable celebration as my wife's name is Olga ......so we have to celebrate it in great style ....I believe this is why I like living in Russia .....
Dacha - that looks stunning! I have a big desk in my bedroom which I'd like to eventually fill with plant pots, only have 5 at the moment - will post a pic tomorrow!

last night we had Barramundi. My favourite fish, with mashed potato, carrots and Brussels sprouts. Very filling.

We have what I call green curtains in our apartment.....no cloth allowed ......well I think it looks OK
