Lily; I've often brought neighbours washing in if it's raining (even ironed them once as they were a little damp) but never because they looked wrong! The fun I could have with your neighbour; MASSIVE pants would be hoisted amongst the scruffy vegetable patch!
I am doubting my choice of custard for the trifle; unfortunately what with yesterday's cream heavy dish, today's trifle and ice cream making: the mere idea a taste test makes me feel most unwell. I may have over creamed.
Need a giggle? His lordship came downstairs and announced he had "wiped the bathroom sink"...
... I'll just go do the rest of the bathroom then shall I?
Just been to the local card shop for cards for both daugthers' birthdays.
Boss is off and her niece was there so I took the opportunity , as tactfully as possible, to suggest that the " Daughter cards" seemed aimed at those under 10 , or over 50.
" I know exactly what you're saying and I have to agree with you. I'll have a little word. "
Looks like it's Moonpig for them this year.
Nice to see you Joyce. I knew someone who went to school with 3 sisters called Storm, Tempest and Gail.
Clari/LP:. My first partner used to watch me while I did all the cleaning and then I'd have a shower put my feet up and have a cup of tea before getting dressed again. His brother would arrive see me in my PJs thinking I had just woken up and my partner would just wipe the side of the kettle as if he had been doing as the cleaning aaaaaaagh!

LilyP, I've flagged it up to the Mods, and I'll make sure Nora has picked it up when she's back in the office next week.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
LP, my daughter will be passing you about now on her way home.
Where I taught there were four girls in a family all named after Scottish islands, one of them was Skye and a friend's niece is named Stroma.

Found out last night that our tenants have been looking at other properties.
Fingers crossed they find one soon.
The biggest disadvantage of wanting to make everything? The state of my kitchen now!
