    Morning all.

I wish I had some concrete answers for you NB, but I'm afraid not.

A grand total of 3 hours sleep for me. Fell asleep around 3 and neighbour left for work at 6. To make matters worse, I've only got enough milk for one mug of tea. Waitrose don't open until 8!!!!

Nanny B -- I hope the nightmare of your building work gets resolved soon.

@ Nanny B. ... If it's of any help we had new soffits fitted all around this house when we bought it ... No structural work involved at all. It was one of the last jobs the builder did. Hope that helps.

    Good morning all image

Wall to wall blue skies and sunshine here ... It looks as if we're in fo a glorious day.

OH is off to work ... It'll be my first day on my own without The Boot. I'm itching to start real work in the garden, but I've promised I'll take it steady image

Am just wondering Dove if you CAN actually put up new soffist and gutter, BEHIND a new heavy, glass lantern roof which is of course attached to the old ones, I perspnally cannot see how anymore than Huby can, BUT the guys say they are going to do it, will wait and see what happens when they arrive, if I am not happy I will ring the boss again.

NB, I'd give them a call at 9.

Explain not only your concerns, but the effect it's having on your husband.

I think the very least they should do is to come out and inspect things, talk to you both , on site, face to face and offer any remedial help, a loan of a dehumidifier, tarps to cover stuff, a flippin box of chocs and a bottle of something at the very least.

    Nanny B - I think they owe you a discount . . . ask for one.
