This morning's excitement: I was at the kitchen window when I heard this low rumbling which I thought ot be a tractor coming along the road, but no. a HUGE RAF transporter plane. I got to the back door just as it passed directly overhead, very , very low. I was watching and another came by, low enough for me to read the lettering on the tail fin.
More good news. The tenants can move into their new place on Aug 1st and the agent think they'll move asap . Great news for us as they have to pay rent on our place until Oct 6th if nobody moves in beforehand. I also told the agent I'm 99% sure they've been smoking in there (against tenancy agreement) and ,as such, it'll have to be re-decorated before it goes on the market. I've told her not to expect much, if any, deposit to be repaid. Can't wait to get rid of them.
Hmmmm, the morning mist not moving and now it feels chilly
yes Dacha I have family who live in Moscow
Dove, seems we all thought your son had delayed move, be careful!
Hosta, we have had a lot of RAF activity recently, it's the fighter jets that put the fear in me last one was so low I automatically crouched down and covered my head, he Must have seen me!

I remember, many years ago, 'going behind a hedge' in the middle if moorland somewhere. Suddenly a fighter jet flew low enough to part my hair. I'll swear I could see the grins on their faces
Busy - tell OH if he doesn't occasionally just stop and breathe eh'll not get much past 27!
We have been to La Roche-s-Y this am to look at surf boards and, of course, the ones for people Possum's height are not on sale! Oh well, OH is the same height so he can play with it when she's not here and he's daft/insensitive enough to do it without a wet suit which we also had to get for her.
After that a short shop in the SM and courgette fritters for lunch. Now it's my turn - compost and tent pegs so I can finish my bulb and cyclamen planting project in the wisteria bed while they go out to play with the surf board. Tent pegs are to anchor the metal pergola thingy we bought for the garden table.
We used to get low flying sound barrier breaking jobbies from Beauvechain flying over our Belgian house, so low the sound sucked the double glazing. We also got low flying hot air ballons. Rasta would go and bark and tell them to stay out of her garden but Bozo would dive under the desk. Didn't like the noise of the burners.
DL - we used to have 7 cats at one point and took 5 to Belgium when we moved there in 1991. Lost 3 to old age and 2 to cars. Adopted this pair of kittens at the end of November.
Hosta - fingers crossed then.
Happy gardening, or whatever else veryone is doing.

Went to GP with referal from skin check, to be told it could be a nodular melenoma, now awaiting emergency Hospital appointment! Got told off by shed people! Not in the mood for that! I e mailed last week said they had only sent glazing bars for 3 windows there are 4, e-mail back, Did I want the glazing sheet, replied no glazing bars, e-mail back, he couldnt quite understand was it just the glazing bars, so I e-mailed "Yes for the 3rd time" just the glazing bars, e-mail back saying I was curt and rude, and he was only trying to help. Also got a bill for the conservatory which isnt finnished, which I thought was a blooming cheek!

Talking of planes we live near to RAF / NATO airfield of Waddington , Lincolnshire and we get the various spy planes ✈️ circling around before landing
During times of the various conflicts we also get other interesting planes / helicopters flying over
