Morning back from the big smoke. Was a busy time but felt I was useful

no sign of second child's new baby yet, already 3 days late, have promised to return

didnt know there was a strike of Virgin train staff, all a bit chaotic but we got home, eventually

Joyce the road is closed thro the village, I am sure you daughter will know to take the Crawfordjohn road hope you have a nice visit with her and your OH is comfortable

Clari thrilled to hear you are now buying furniture!

Topbird we have wasps nests every year under the eave at the end if the house, only bother is the odd dead one in the double glazing

Punk sorry to hear you are poorly, hooe you feel better soon

Dove you sound a bit more mobile hope you are pain free too, how is Wonky doing?

have returned to a garden resembling a jungle, there have obviously been tigers in it too judging by the dogs behaviour when we got them home!

going to make the most of the road closed and go and prune some trees and put weedkiller down under the wall.

nice to be home, I find I don't enjoy city life as I used to. Too many people!

Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.”

    Morning all.
Going to visit a garden in the Open Gardens scheme, then come home to do some gardening. Hope the garden will motivate me!

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

BL, pace yourself when working in the garden to prevent joints aching too much,

Morning everyone.  Hope you feel better soon PDoc.  Joyce/DD I hope you enjoy your daughter's visit.  Chicky I've not been to Hampton Court hope you have a lovely day.  LP hope your daughter has her baby soon x. TB it is nice to be home after shopping in the city and I love the birdsong it makes you feel more Human again.    Hope everyone has a good day.  Dad's birthday today and it's really lifted his spirits getting his presents.  Quite sunny at the moment but still need a jacket.  Cats are busy getting into empty boxes and claiming their territory.

We're fine Hosta, thanks ... although OH fell off his bike yesterday and skidded down the road on his left hip and elbow ... a grazed elbow and bruised hip are the only lasting effects other than him feeling a bit embarrassed.  Arnica has been applied but don't think it heals bruised egos  image  A chap came out of a house to check that he was ok.   OH was trying to carry a couple of boxes home under his arm image

He's fixed his bike (front brakes had come adrift) and says he's perfectly fine image
