The chicklet in Nottingham has flown to Oz for a year fidget....we're still working out the practicalities image.  But she'll be back - she has another year at Nottingham to finish before she gets her degree.  So more Felley Priory opportunities in 2018/19image

Thanks for the moth ID Aunty Rach.  Found it on one of my kitchen cupboards so took a pic before ushering it outside.    Lots of moths and butterflies on my mint pots but they don't sit still long enough to ID or take pics.

Oh I remember now. Fi (friends daughter) comes back. Chicklet goes.  Fi is currently planning trip to NZ with her sister, brother and cousin to visit other cousin who has gone to live there. Once they get itchy feet, there is no stopping them . (Except bank of dad)

No sleep here for a while.   Lots of noises on high and we have raindrops.  Hope they turn into a thorough downpour as I have long established shrubs wilting here and stressed trees.

Hope your wife gets back in good order DL.

    Morning all.

Gremlins seem to have been dismissed.

No storms here but lots of lightning way in the distance. Hardly a drop of rain either.

    Devon.

Couldnt get on here this morning, kept saying weird techno stuff that means nothing to me.  Was up from midnight to 1.30 watching lightening in the distance, 1 clap of thunder also very distant.  Little overnight rain, very welcome, thank you.  Huge sympathies to anyone in Cornwall affected by the flash floods, what an amazing gutsy lady on the news, you go girl!!!
