Good luck with the poles chicky - they're fine when you get the hang of them!

That's grim indeed Hosta, but it's taking over your life entirely. Obelixx is right - can you find a way of distracting yourself so that you don't continue with that 'fear' of going to bed? Easy to say, I know, but finding someone who can point you in the right direction surely has to be the solution. I sleep so much better now after years of poor sleep, but there was a reason for it and I've now dealt with the reason, so it was easier for me. It's worse when you've always been a good sleeper too, which I was. I really hope you can solve it.

Forecast wasn't great anywhere to walk today, with thunder and lightning and heavy rain, but it's supposed to be a bit better at home so  I decided to get on with things here. MInd you - it was supposed to be half decent yesterday too....not sure that was very accurate!

The only coffee we have around here is that cheap jar for the builders but if you're willing to chance it... (might taste of mud).

    Mods on a weekend?

Morning troops. Been up since 7 to have some quality time with kittens. Must vacuum stairs today as they had their first outing on them yesterday so I noticed a dust/vacuum was overdue! I could use the kittens as a dust-bust for any tricky corners as they seem to find those like a well-trained sniffer dog!

Think it's going to be a very mixed weather day - noticed a lightening icon for this arvo!

My garden and I live in South Wales.

It's a grand thing Clari  image

My bedclothes are ready to hang out and there's a load of dirty, threatening clouds. What's that about?

Not sure why I'm surprised - it's looked like that since I got up!
