    Hi all.

Torrential rain in the night, I am well past the stage of saying that the garden needs it.

OH was poorly during the night, most unusual, she has the constitution of an Ox.

Have left her in bed and I am going to do some more jungle taming.

    Have a good day.

    Was it something I said?

    No posts since 10.00am.

Have done some weeding and am trying to tempt OH into trying some lunch.

At least she cooked dinner last night, so i can't be blamed if it is food poisoning.

Some weeding done here too Pdoc but starting to drizzle now.

Maybe all Forkers are busy in garden/cooking or out for the day.

    Clarington says:

    Mods on a weekend?

    See original post

They do appear to keep an eye out for problems ... think they may have been on a mission as some WUMS think that they have a free rein to misbehave here at the weekends ... now it's obvious that they don't image

Pdoc ... hope OH is feeling better soon ((hugs)).  We must have had enough rain overnight ... there's none left here although they promised it would be wet all day.  I've been out titivating/dead heading etc, picking sweet peas (thank you Wonky) and runner beans ... we found a haiku waiting to be written ... I took a photo ... I'll put it on the photography thread ... it's too sad for here ...

The forecast for more or less everywhere seems to be dry this morning and heavy showers or rain this afternoon - therefore no Forkers this morning and you'll not be able to get a word in edgewise this afternoon?

Raining here again, so in for a cuppa. Just got the washing in in time. It's dried quite well considering it's one of those grey, 'nothingy' days image

I've split the geranium I got yesterday. That's the advantage of buying plants just now - they're ready to be moved on.

A little raggedy coal tit was stuffing it's face while I was busy ten/fifteen feet away. They're quite happy to sit in that cage and eat, rather than fly off to find cover. Lovely little things  image

Hope Mrs doc isn't too unwell doc. You'll have to do a bit of 'nursing' rather than doctoring  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Afternoon all,  Visited mum and then spent the rest of the morning in the garden.  Some of the pond plants have turned into triffids so I've been out there repotting them.  Found lots of lovely pond snails and disturbed a couple of frogs but they just jumped off into the undergrowth.  Also fed the birds, they look like ordinary garden birds but I'm sure they are really gannets in disguise.  Sat for a while watching a heron on next doors roof.  Don't see one very often so always take time to admire.

Sorry to hear some of you had disturbed nights again.  I had a night filled with horrible dreams so woke with a headache and feeling as if my head was full of cotton wool.  Glad to say the gardening has sorted it out.

P'doc hope OH feels better soon.  Make sure you look after her.

Weather is blustery here but no rain this morning although we obviously had loads overnight.

Off for a browse 'see' you all later.
