So Clarington ....I take that to mean that you are not so sure about the sell by date (SBD from henceforth ).....this has to be the most contentious freaking subject I have with my wife and Russian relatives.....I swear to god....my MIL used a pack of Tesco sultanas with a SBD of March 2002
I was wondering what the pack had to be suspicious about. Possum, here for the summer, has been checking dates on the ketchup bottle (which only shes uses) and other stuff and has let us know what will soon be past it. The earliest is September or October. We shall ignore them as usual. If it goes a funny colour or smells off we chuck stuff out but not before.
Clari - that block was homework for a class I took to find out how to get all the points to meet up after trying on my own and missing a trick or two.
Cheyn - lovely to have a visitor unless you're allergic of course. Cats used to think our house in Harrow was a hotel or a refuge.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Sultanas from 2002?!!
You'l survive. If she used fresh chicken breasts from March 2002 it may be a different story. Old chicken tastes awful in scones
