So Clarington ....I take that to mean that you are not so sure about the sell by date (SBD from henceforth ).....this has to be the most contentious freaking subject I have with my wife and Russian relatives.....I swear to god....my MIL used a pack of Tesco sultanas with a SBD of March 2002 image

Oh no; sell by / use by / best before... everything in my house is based on the "sniff test". I tend to use those dates as guidelines.

The Peppers however; I don't remember buying them. Now yes I admit I am the one with memory issues but peppers don't usually just appear in the fridge do they? I've even checked my receipts.

Did a friend bring them? Relative? Wormhole from space? I have quite bad memory issues but usually it means waking up to sweets etc that I don't remember buying

Morning all when you wake. It sounds as though you're feeling the heat over there. Not here I'm afraid.

Lots of chat to read through, but I feel as though I know everyone well enough to enjoy reading about your adventures.image

WE're heading out the back (yet again) for another load of firewood. We are certainly getting through it this winter. Might see something to photograph.image

I don't get many visitors bearing vegetables and my partner insists he didn't get them.

I'm thinking work hole from space would explain why merely a day or two after going shopping there never seems to be anything to eat.

I went to bed with a hot water bottle last night Pat!

Other half was up late watching videos via his phone on the television (on a Chrome Cast) I left him too it when he started watching home made videos of someone draining gearbox oil. You Tube is full of odd things!

As a result he's now still fast asleep; I'm tempted to lean over and drink the mug of tea I brought him while it's still warm.

Hopefully it won't rain today so I can get the lawn cut: things are starting to look a little too scruffy.

Clari, the seems strange to read you used the hot water bottle when Joyce and others are commenting about heat.

we got stuck into a big old tree that must have fallen years before we bought the property. Hubby's chain saws were smoking! The wood was really hard and talk about heavy to load onto the trailer!  I got a really good work out.

I'll sort out some photos and put them on the camera thread.
