Neighbours child is on the outhouse roof again. I am sorely tempted to get up there and join him just so they realise that yes it is annoying when someone can see into your

    1. otherwise private garden

    2. master bedroom window

Actually maybe I will wait until 08:00 and climb up there with the very loud hedge trimmer.

Shall we all come round, with power tools, in the morning Clari ? I have a particularly noisy petrol trimmer...

Evening all. The Strawberry Tea went very well, for once it was warm and sunny. My plant stall went pretty well too, sold most of my excess annuals. DD was there.

DD, if you see this, someone has offered a set of green "Paragon" bone chine tea cups.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hosta, how is it affecting the cannas?

Glad it went well Busy.   At this rate, DD will have teacups to spare - which is just as well for when she gets busy.

Clari - OH has a petrol strimmer which is smelly as well as noisy.   Can you fence off your roof with spiky stuff to deter inappropriate children?

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I'm in talks with his lordship about getting trellis installed OB. It's not just that they are trespassing, invading our privacy, really upsetting the dog, but if that child falls (after all the roof is hardly designed for grip) yes it'll be upsetting for them but it's not something I want etched as a memory in what is meant to be my safe home.

Unfortunately I don't think their picnic basket is entirely full and probably just see it as not wrapping the children in cotton wool.

I've just taken the opportunity to read back. I've had some very good laughs. The dog sounds just as spoiled as my little poodle was. Such a pleasure to spoil her, though. We're both looking for her all over the place and feel the need to let her out for her last nightly twinkle.

Hosta, sorry to hear about the Cannas. What a nuisance after all the effort to get them so large.

Busy, the Strawberry Tea success must be a relief and thrill for you.  I'm glad DD is slowly getting set up.

im definitely inside today until the fog lifts. It's very cold and damp out there. Luckily I put most of the clothes into the tumble dryer yesterday and only left the other things out there.
