    Hi all.

I was sitting there last night, feeling sorry for myself: lost deposit on holiday, computer broken [ even with up to date malware protection ] and then the news came through.

Puts your minor problems into perspective.

Had breakfast outside this morning, OH had the washing out and we have just had the most violent storm.

I shall have very limited computer access until desk top is fixed, but will pop in and out when I can.

Glazing the new GH today and it's started raining of course!  In for a(nother) quick cuppa and to rest my thumbs (pressing the glazing beads into place soon starts taking its toll..)  Need to get it completed today as strong winds are forecast for Mon & Tue after which I'm back at work. image

Must say I'm very impressed with the quality of the parts and instructions - even a DVD was included. image

Having a "life's too short..." mood today. Just bought a new cafétiere and had a full English (Welsh?) breakfast for lunch.

Hope everyone is making the most of the day - rain or shine.

    Afternoon all.

Home from work to find a message from my daughter to say she's fine. I'm glad I didn't call at 1am when I heard about it , or at 7am before work.

Punk, Have I missed a post about why you've lost your holiday / deposit.

    Not prying , honest.

Hosta image Glad your daughter is ok image

Hope Pdoc will excuse me answering for him but as he's got posting problems I thought I'd explain that he has found that Japan doesn't allow the prescribed meds that he takes into the country.  Bit of a bu$$er but apparently there's no way around it. image

I'm glad you reminded us about why Punkdoc couldn't go to Japan, he did tell us earlier, but it had already slipped my mind, and I was wondering.

Hosta glad your daughter is safe.

Dove, I hope you had a good day. It takes some practice with the various aids you've got.

    Off to sleep at last.

Couldn't agree more Hosta,I have to go down soon. I am always too hot, feel dirty and never sleep for the noise.  But, I dont have to earn a living and I am amazed at how hard they all work.
