Here we have a telly doofer and a Sky doofer and most other stuff is a dooberry when we can't think of the name.
Sunny here and warm. More sanding for me because i got distracted yesterday and forgot the wardrobe door which has been taken off and put to one side......... Doh!
OH is strimming edges and round trees and posts. After lunch we need to go and look at paving and gravel before we order 10 cubic metres of chipped bark for the rose garden project. We may well order it anyway but I still want to look at something more stable for our morning coffee table.
Lovely iris Chicky. I've just planted 2 doz bearded iris in my new island bed and most will be a surprise but probably deep purple. They came from Marie-Christine who used to help in the old garden plus a few new bought ones in shades of peach and cream and caramel. I have a load of reticulatas to go in round the edge of the bed for next spring.
Pat - you should really work on ways to put off your unwanted visitor since you veiw her appearances with such dread.
Love that picture Hosta.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Waste of time Obelixx. She is involved with the Volunteer Fire Brigade so always has something TERRIBLY important to discuss with Hubby. Anyway, its safe tonight at 8.30, so we are relaxed and enjoying Michael Portillo finishing his Irish journey, and then Liverpool, etc. easy watching!
Good afternoon all on holiday in Tenby for 10 days , rain stopped and sun shining ☀️
Unfortually want be able to vote next week as my postal vote never came through , first time since 18 that I have not voted , will send a letter to the Electral officer asking what went wrong ?
Hosta - there's a lot of troughs out there if anyone cares to investigate. I expect town councilors and county councilors and MPs of various persuasions are at it and probably a few chief executives of councils too and then there's the whole MEP thing where they get huge salaries - tax free - and living and schooling and travel benefits and still want to pay their wives for "secretarial duties".
Nigel Farage is well known in Brussels and Strasbourg for wining and dining journalists in the best 2 and 3 star restaurants which is why none of them looked too closely at him during the Brexit campaign.
OH has the bit between his teeth today and is "sorting out" our garden shed and storage cave. We now have lanterns strung up in the garden and a lot of tutting going on. I'm ignoring hime and sticking to messing with furniture and seedlings.

Obelixx, I answered you about the restaurant on previous page. The photos have worked now, view of the river in front of the restaurant and the back of it.
Have been tying up broad beans, clematis and tomatoes, dealing with washing and making bread.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hosta - that pic made me laugh too. Does he have something to hand for 'throwing out' when he doesn't get his way, or is that just when he's in the pram? What a giant f*d the man is. I'll translate that later for anyone who needs it....
Lovely pix BL.
Rain's gone off here now - it was wet till mid/late morning. We had to resort to eating shortbread to keep us going at work. Been one of those weeks
I might get some bits and bobs done outdoors. Clematis to plant here too. They're itching to get out their pots. 'His Lordship' ( three pots) is residing under the perspex to keep all the rain off, so I might allow him out properly for a while
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Back from SM - also popped to M&S and managed to find 2 pairs of capri-style trousers and a top. Hate clothes shopping so when I see something I like I have to buy it there and then.
Pat - seriously - do let me know if I can help your hubby with his Suffolk roots. When he's worked out who / what he wants to know about, send me a PM with the details and we'll take it from there Same goes for anyone else wanting some research into Suffolk roots.
Restaurant location looks beautiful BL. I don't think I've ever had a really bad meal in a french restaurant. A couple of average ones and lots of good ones - but no really bad ones.
TV / SKY remotes in this house are 'thingies'. Actually - rather a lot of things are known as 'thingies' in this house. Amazing that we seem to know what each other is talking about most of the time.

Looks lovely Busy. I hope the journey home wasn't too tiring.
I still haven't got a clematis or a rose or a veggie in the ground but we're working on it. Meanwhile, they're doing fine in pots and troughs.
Aah - you mean the 'thingy' Dove...
