Not sure whether you have seen it, but after the 1 minute silence in Manchester, this morning, the crowd burst into a spontaneous rendition of the Oasis song, Don't Look Back in Anger.

    Very moving.

Yes I heard that on the news .......... amazing.

I was impressed too that the Silence here was even observed by the builders working on a nearby house ..... on the dot the power tools were switched off and not switched back on again for exactly a minute, and I didn't hear a car or a bus on the roads in this area.   The Silence is not always so well observed on 11th November or Remembrance Sunday .

Sorry to hear your news Dove.

Perfect excuse for a bottle of something chilled though.

squeamish commiserations from another unstable knee sufferer, Dove image. It happened to me once in a supermarket - OH was paying and I wanted to get back to the car because we'd left the dogs so I stepped over the chain between closed cash tills a bit further along the row and my knee 'went' leaving me sitting on the floor whimpering. It took OH about ten minutes to find me because I basically just disappeared and he wasn't watching when I vanished.

hope both you and the sweet rocket are upright again soon
