    Morning all.

    Sorry about Dad Chicky.

Glorious sunny morning after a lot of rain overnight. I know because I was awake for most of it.

Coal face at 8 this morning but at least I can top up on tea before then.

On happier news, Mr and Mrs Bluetit have been feeding like crazy over the last few days. No idea how many they've got ,but 10 / 10 for effort on their part.

The 1m tall dahlia imperialis I planted out yesterday have perked up no end,so fingers crossed.

Morning Hosta and afties Pat. Thinking about you today. Hope Mother's Day has been ok for you. image

Sorry to hear about your Dad chicky. Worrying for you all. My dad was very independent, but as soon as he had a fall, it changed everything, because you suddenly realise they aren't invincible any more.

Topping up on tea here too Hosta - up to take duaghter to work for seven.  Been raining overnight  and everything looks very green and healthy after all the rain yesterday as well. We really needed it here - not often I can say that! Four sparrows on the feeder this morning - their young 'uns must be keeping them busy too  image

Morning Dove. Bluetits were in the feeder when I came back  image

Not walking today - the forecast was a bit rubbish so that's why I nipped out on Friday. Knee braces are on the ruckie   image

There's two words that don't go together Hosta - 'highlights' and 'Eurovision'  image

Light shower just now, exactly as per the forecast. If the forecast continues to be correct it'll stop soon and then be dry all day image
