Good morning all image G'day Pat image

Lots of rain overnight ... Glad I cut the back grass yesterday ... It's looking good ... Wonder if the rain will stop like it did yesterday so I can get out there again, or is it going to be a knitting day?

It's always worth a try Amberspy. I've use rotary hoes years ago, but now simply make raised beds and fill them with soil/sand etc. save all that hard work.image

Hi all just wondering if any of you live in or near Cheltenham as we are there later for fancy lunch and then evening wedding reception and I am hoping weather is better there than it is here in the West Midlands?

Morning all/afties Pat - think that's what our weather is to be like this weekend - at least for walking. Typical!

Glad I got my grass done too after  work. The front is covered in dew - looks very green and pretty.

Clematais coming today. Looking forward to those. One for the new border and one for the border running from the backdoor which has another three in it.

Did anyone watch the Three Girls drama that's been on this week? Harrowing and moving in equal measure, but should be required viewing for everyone. Stunning performances from the young girls in particular. Along with the Little Boy Blue one - two of the finest pieces of drama in recent years in my humble opinion.

Off for a look round here before I head off. Friday - hurray!v Have a good day everyone  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Morning all!

A friend called and asked if I'd mind helping him out transport some new wheels for his trailer as he thought they'd be too big and heavy for his car. No worries; plus it's always nice to see him.

200 plus miles in the beating rain (after a 7 hour meeting that fried my brain) through everything from motorway to single track lane (same it was dark as I just know the countryside would been so beautiful to look at) in the mighty land rover and...

... He did apologise when we arrived and found them to be MUCH smaller and MUCH lighter than he had expected! They'd have gone in my little Peugeot 206!

I want to make a joke about men and their measuring skills but I've not had enough mugs of tea to be witty yet. ;)

Clari,  some men do have a tendency to exaggerate measurements  from the size of the fish they caught to. . . . . image

Another beautiful day and masses of weeds to pull.  They have shot up with the warmth and rain.

    Good morning,

Pat. Always love seeing your photos

Fairy I couldn't watch three girls, I worked in that area for 25 years and although nothing shocks me now I really find I can't watch anything like that any more  it's truly appalling that nothing has changed

now cucamelons Is a new concept to me, if I am growing cucumbers is it still worth trying them?

Clari bet you just gave a long sigh and a grin! What is your new job?

    enjoy Cheltenham

    have a good day
