BL   imagere your new car. The only consolation is that the old dear wasn't speeding along a main road.

Joyce21.  Don't get me started on speeding cars.  Absolutely stupid people overtaking this afternoon when we came back from MK shopping centre.  We also saw undertaking ahead of us, also at speed.

OH has avoided many an accident by his quick thinking, even though we are both elderly.

Any night owls around - tune your radio to Radio 4 - from half past midnight onwards until breakfast they'll be broadcasting the dawn chorus as it moves westwards across Europe image

Now we're going to bed - but the radio is on ...

sweet dreams or enjoy the birdsong image

Dove, each time I wake up the radio button gets set for 90mins  so will, no doubt, hear the birdsong image

I hope you aren't exhausted in the morning, Dove!

Thank you Topbird about the bark. We are going to the Tesco next to that GC next week to get Marmite, Golden Syrup etc to take back to France. We'll go and have a look then.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

sorry to say Pat I can't access the tv series. Thought it was too good to be true when they welcomed me as a member. I have tried every which way.  Shame as I really looked forward to seeing them!

Hosta, your place looks so lovely and green compared to our brownish view. The grass that had greened up after rain has now been frosted and no rain.

Lilyp, that's a shame. Maybe it'll appear again somewhere.i think there were only 4 episodes, but we enjoyed them. Forget their names now apart from the last one. image.

BusyL, irritating about the car. I hope she had insurance, but I've got my doubts. It makes you think though. I wonder if the "old dear" lives alone and has to do her own shopping. Scary thought as I get older

The darned machine sent that before id finished.

Busy, don't forget that if the bark is from Pines, it'll sour your soil. Ok for Rhododendrons etc, but not good if you want to grow other plants that like it a bit sweeter.
