    Morning all. Afternoon Pat.

More blue sky and sunimage    Anyone still needing more rain?

Clari, do you now have a three day weekend?

Having help in the garden this morning to dig out a couple of shrubs.

Joyce; I do for now. Eventually I need to find a second income either on one of my days off or evening work to help cover the drop in wages. But for a couple of months at least I intend on concentrating on me (and the garden).

Dove; I see Reggie as more of a pushing them in the pond than rescuing anyone! He loves the company of another good dog, more so than people. But I think his lordship has been convinced that we need to wait until his grandparents very elderly and prone to strokes when stressed dog departs. I don't think anyone would forgive themselves if they were the cause of his departure and since he already gets stressed by Reggie having two bouncy young hooligans might be the final straw.

Of course two dogs might make my second job impractical so we need to make sure we can budget well too. I know Reggie is spoilt but sometimes I look at parents with two or three or more children and think cripes! My one dog takes up almost every waking hour how do you crate train children so thry don't trip you up while cooking?!

Good morning people. I haven't read back yet, but I was very uncomfortable and despondent yesterday and this morning with that  heart monitor dangling off me for 24  hours that I didn't feel like joining in. It's off now and I feel much happier. I even wandered over to the Medlar with the secateurs and cut away the rootstock branches. It looks better already. image

Ill read back shortly, but it's getting on for supper time, so I'd better get busy in the kitchen.

What are you digging out Joyce?

Morning all/afties Pat if you're there. I haven't read back beyond this page.

Clari - you just lock them (small children) in a cupboard to keep them out the way....image

    Enjoy your visit BL.

Quite nice here but a lot of dark clouds. Washing's going out anyway - it can take it's chances.Taken a couple of pics of my first Lord Bute flowers. Looking forward to putting them out when it warms up enough. Too cold at night for any little souls.

    Morning all.

In bed at 9.30 last night and alarm woke me at 7.30 this morning. I was even tempted to drop off again, but I resisted.

Nice dry day here so I'm aiming to get all the grass cut. I gambled last week on not cutting it after the shave the previous week so it's nice and green .

Hubby due home late lunch / early afternoon so I'd best tidy up the kitchen too.image

LP, apart from spring bulbs and hardy geraniums, I haven't decided.  The camellia is hiding a lovely choisya so I don;t want another shrub.

    Hi all.

I would describe it as vernal out there. I think it was Dove's OH, who described it as bucolic yesterday.

My OH has been away, running a meeting, so I need to tidy up to.

Today I am very happy, because I think that we just might be near the end of Trump.

Tickets for Chatsworth arrived yesterday, slight problem is that we are going with SIL and she is a PITA.
