Sorry to hear about your car, BL. Hope the situation with the elderly lady is resolved  - do you think you'll hear the outcome?

And how frustrating, Fairy! Can't believe that two attempts have now been thwarted. Such a long way too. However, if you were feeling poorly I'm just glad you got home safely.

Wonky you do sound happy - what a fab job. I have today joined you in the greenhouse club, though mine is just a lean-to (the still-in-its-box freebie I got via Facebook earlier in the year, if you remember). Need to sort out some shelves this week, and get some correx to cover the back where it's against some trellis. Rather excited. How's yours going - full yet?!?

Good morning everyone. Cold here today.

Its lovely to see all your gardens.  Lilyp your vase looks as though the whole house would be perfumed. I've added a few roses to my vase, so it looks a bit different.

LG, how exciting! image have fun in the greenhouse! Its made such a difference to me, I know you will think so too! Mines full of seedlings and plants I've divided and potted on etc....and the odd snoozing cat!

Have a lovely day everyone and please send some nice weather this way for those that work outside! image

Wonky; I'll swap you our weather for any rain you might have. I can't remember when it last rained here. Everything is so dry.

LG: enjoy the greenhouse! I need to spend a day tidying mine up as it has been used as storage during the house renovations.

Dove; the rhubarb and crumble ice cream was a success! I think I will add ginger next time. Plenty left for anyone else wanting some! I just need to work out what else I can do with the rhubarb now.

Clari have you tried Rhubarb& Custard cake. There's a recipe on the BBC good food site. A big favourite here.  And Wonky made some this weekend too

Have a good day Wonky image

Morning all / afties Pat - gorgeous vase of flowers image

I have a couple of Dutch Iris which have appeared - thought they were long dead! I'll cut a few of the last of the narcissus and bring them into the house later.

Smashing greenhouse LG ...err, maybe shouldn't use the word 'smashing'.....image

Hope you enjoy it. I don't have the room in the right location for one. What's even more annoying is that last year, I went up to do them, and changed my mind. Went further on and did part of the Ring of Steall instead. I didn't have time to do all of it but would have got those two no probs.  Such is life  image

You had a nice weekend chicky - hope you have a good trip. If you see Mr Trump - make a face at him image

Interesting times elsewhere too eh? Vive la France....

I'll have a quick look round before I go. WIsh I'd picked this last week to have off. Another lovely day although still a bit chilly at the moment. Have a grand day everyone

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Thanks Fairy. It's a bit of pot luck in my garden. Some self seed, some disappear for a season or so, then reappear without warning- always appreciated though. Re your missed walk, it's something to look forward to now!

It's been a very cold day here. It feels like it might snow.

    Morning all.

Lovely sunny morning, but breezy again.

Rhubarb crumble/ custard combo sound heavenly for the base of anything to me (maybe not curry )

I seem to have forgotten dinner last night.oops.

Not a siskin and the eggs have gone from the nest on the ground,a shame but hardly  a surprise though eh?
