Oh Chicky ,,, deep envy here ... we used to have auriculas in a gravel bed in the front garden in a previous house ...... I didn't know they were there when we moved in late January ... over the next few months that garden revealed that a real plant lover had lived there a few years ago.
Now where could I grow auriculas here ....................
Fairy ... fancy having all those friends living in Papi Joe's garden party time eh?
Morning Joyce
Morning Hosta - love the new pond those Lollipop birds are busy 'nesting' ... .e
I've just ordered a batch of live mini-mealworms for our robins - they've grown to expect assistance with feeding their brood at this time of year and come and take mealworms from our hands.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I remember the spaghetti tree! The Telegraph has an item this morning about Polar bears in north Scotland. Is that true or an April Fool? I love Papi Jo's photo
Gorgeous auricula, Chicky. A friend here tried to do an auricula theatre for her Open Garden day, but it just gets too hot here so they wither away in summer.
We were supposed to go to a Barn Dance last night but we forgot. OH had paid for the tickets It was because of the tree falling on the drive, blocking our way out and breaking the phone line. The farmer came and cut up the tree and pushed it off the drive with his tractor and France Telecom came and did a temporary repair. But it was nerve wracking as I had to get out to babysit for son at lunchtime and OH has to go to the airport today as he's going to England for a few days. My mobile phone has a lousy signal here and France Telecom was difficult to get hold of. You always get a recorded message and it tells you to send them an email if you can't reach them by phone, but how can you when the phone line is down?
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning folks, afternoon Pat. Hope the ear is feeling better.
Second coffee in, sun shining, need to go to GC to get some sweet pea seeds and copper tape. Greenhouse is being delivers Monday while I'm at work, if one of you could just pop over and assemble, that would be fab! Fairy? Wand handy?
A big thank you to Dove and Papa womble for birthday greenhouse! X
Took a load to the tip yesterday, clearing rubbish and making room.

Lovley auricula. I'm quite partial - I'd need to do the whole theatre thing though. I think that can wait till the next garden

Oh, I saw that photo of the deer with a pink bra on it's antlers on another forum, sent by a Scottish member as it was near where she lives!
Morning all. Hello Loana!
Hope the ear improves soon, Pat. It must be debilitating to be in constant pain.
An impressive pond, Hosta! And an even more impressive cardoon; really ornamental. I've never eaten one though.
As far as I know, I haven't been "fooled" yet this morning...
...but who knows...
Lovely auricula, Chicky. Good luck with the barrowing!
Time to go shopping, I think.
couple have just left after viewing the flat. They love it, they want it, they can't wait to move in.
AAAHHHHHHHH young love eh?
