Oh Liri - that's hilarious, but also worrying!

I have a wooden kitchen here - nicely installed ( image ) but it's not really my taste. Not changing it though.

Think I'll get organised and get a bit done outdoors, now that I've done a couple of chores.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Oh Liri !!! imageimage

The kitchen here was installed by the last owner who was refurbishing the house to sell ... it's perfectly fine, mid range, nothing stylish but not awful ....... not what I would have chosen but perfectly fine and sooooooooooo much better than the one at the last house ... I'm grateful for small mercies image

LOL Liri, I don't think he did either.  Hubby ventured into kitchen fitting when he took voluntary redundancy.  Made a good go of it for a while but it became too much when he had a heart attack so now he teaches guitar.  Mind you it comes in handy when I need a repair or two.

Morning everyone,  had a reasonable night last night, first for a while.  Secondborn and Jonah are quite poorly still, but the other nanna is on duty so I'm just staying in touch in case she needs backup.

Just stopped raining here and looks like it might brighten up later so hopefully I'll get some gardening done, but first I must visit mum.  The home called last night to let me know she is in bed with a chest infection so I'll pop in and make sure she has everything she needs and check she is OK.  If she complains I'll know she's fineimageimage.

Hope everything goes OK at the dentist Hosta and those with poorly sides, backs feet and mouths recover quickly.

Liri - that is funny - but only because it's not my kitchenimage. I've never been a kitchen fitter but even I know a worktop wants to be level - duh!image

Morning everyone - can't decide whether to do more in the garden or have a little trip in the warm sunshine to my favourite nursery (which also happens to be not far from another one I quite likeimage). Poor credit card is having a panic attack already.

Maybe more tea will help with the decision.

    Morning all. Again.

Back from dentist. Wasn't toooo hideous.

Came home to find an appointment letter for Xray for next Wednesday . " call if you can come for an earlier appointment" so I did. 12.10 today. I LOVE the NHS.

Another letter for an ultrasound appointment. They're taking this "tummy incident " seriously aren't they? Have I mentioned I LOVE the NHS?

Our builders told us previous owners paid £60K, yes , sixty K for the kitchen. Not to our taste at all , but it's in good order and too big ( expensive ) to rip out.

Thanks for the link Dove. I'd managed to find it myself!!!!!!! Check me out!!image

    Impressive Hosta image

Glad the dentist wasn't too bad, and glad also that they're taking your innards seriously ((hugs))

Topbird - have you ever been or bought from here http://www.norfolkherbs.co.uk/index.html

I'm planning to pay them a visit when their French Tarragon is ready for sale.

NHS , have to say when I was in hospital last week , the care and service was truly excellent

Including the 3 different ParaMedics that came to house before going in

The last time in was in hospital was when I was 10 ,it has  changed a bit image

imageGood heavens! You can buy a small house here for sixty K.

I hope Wonky's GH has good instructions.

This is the kitchen in our Norfolk cottage, small but convenient and I like the big Belfast sink with the view to the field of cows, then woods.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Glad to hear it GWRS.

I must say that the majority of my dealings with the NHS have been fantastic image........ there have been one or two instances where it's not been so .....  some less than satisfactory care of Pa when he was old and frail and very ill, but it was down to one person's mistake compounded by lack of time on the part of others and they made assumptions rather than read the notes ...... fortunately my son spotted a problem, called me ... I arrived with my Social Services ID on and read the riot act and things were sorted ........ it shouldn't have been necessary, but who amongst us has never made a mistake ... ?
