Cool here and a bit grey and not going to get warms and sunny like yesterday.   Set to be wet for the weekend but I've heard that before and it hasn't delivered.   We'll see.

Since when does London spend 3 days celebrating St Patrick?   All good fun I'm sure but will St George get even one?

Sorry Pat.  Not a tree expert by any means.

    Morning all.

Pottery throw down last night was the funniest thing I've seen in years. Innuendo central. They were making a toilet, cue titters. Yes , an actual working loo.

" Keith was pleased to see I had a nice clean bottom"

" I'm working on my hole. I'm not sure how big it should be"

" I need to see what happens when I offer up my rim"

and so it went on. Juvenile , oh yes, but I laughed like a drain.

    Almost the weekend folks.

    Devon.

had really hoped to get the rasps moved this weekend so hope it dries up

Our easter visit from the family looking less likely. Daughter desperate to get home but no sign of baby's passport yet. He will walk in the door at this rate!

    Have a good day

    Hi all.

Cold and wet this morning, don't you love Spring, no idea what you are going to get from 1 second to the next.

SM done, I was the only person there, I love it when it is empty, no numpties to get in my way.

Don't watch the pottery programme, but I too would have laughed like a drain and probably come out in a hot flush!

Still haven't read back. Our son came down for a visit. Probably for the weekend.

Re the Oak tree ident, Australia doesnt  have any native Quercus, but if this one is Q. variabalis. it's from Japan, Korea, etc. When we go up to Canberra again in a few weeks time, I'll photograph the trunk and bark. That should help a bit more. image All good fun.
