Hi everyone.. sorry to hear about sick grandchildren and Wonky's bad day. I've woken early because Hubby has had to wake early for a webinar for the genealogy thing. I got up at 7am and turned his electric blanket on so that he woulnt cuddle up to me and freeze me. It worked a treat. We are going straight from summer to winter I think. No autumn here. Brrr.

    sleep well all.

Nearly bedtime for me.   Sore ribs have been OK as long as I don't bend over or lift things.   Not easy when trying to sort out a new kitchen and reclaim the dining room.   I've finished my painting, tidied up, played with the dogs, cooked dinner, failed to get the kittens in and they're still outside playing.   Must get the cat flap installed.

Wonky - a new greenhouse will be a source of delight and save you loads growing your own plants from seed and cuttings.  Enjoy.   Hope it makes up for a c**p day.

GWRS - the tonic is for cramps, not gin.  Not really a spirits person.

    G'night all.  Sweet dreams.

Morning Dove and Chicky.  No news here, except I nodded off on the lounge this afternoon. No gardening done. The parrots have discovered my half ripe tomatoes image I think I'll cut the sunflowers off at their knees so that the birds aren't encouraged to visit that part of the garden.

G'day Pat image can you hang the sunflowers up in another part of the garden to attract them over there?

Yes Dove, I'm thinking of hanging them from the bird feeder that my daughter made for me last Christmas. I'll sleep on the idea and maybe have a try tomorrow. They've almost destroyed the sunflowers anyway. image
