You're having a tough time of it too, Yvie.  Hope they get better soon; at least scarlet fever is easily treatable these days, and not the horror it was in former generations... makes them miserable though.  image

Oh dear.  Hugs for Wonky and Yvie's grandbairns.

Just got back from buying more paint and Tonic and met our garrulous gendarme neighbour mowing his verges.  Managed to escape after only 20 mins cos I need to finish the painting while the light is still good.

Quick pop in before I get on with dinnerimage

Best wishes to Lily P and her family - awful not being able to just be there. Hope baby makes a full & speedy recovery. Sorry also to hear Yvie's news - haven't heard of anyone having scarlet fever for yonks - best wishes to you and them as well.

Poor Wonky - very disappointing on the greenhouse front and a PITA with the car. At least the person responsible had the decency to stop - hope it's not too inconvenient for her. Has she looked at Freecycle and other free 'recycling' sites to see if anybody else wants rid of a greenhouse or perhaps a cold frame?

Wonky - your new greenhouse will soon  pay for itself in terms of what you will save on plants  A good investment.   Wish I had the space for one..
