Best wishes to you GWRS - hope you're making a full recoveryimage

Boring day looking at cars today - possibly my least favourite activity after cleaning the oven. Needs must - we'll probably change OH's car later this year so need to know what would be a suitable replacement.

Off to see if I can see any meteors / auroras - supposed to be a good night for it.

Sleep well everybody (positive vibes for you Hosta - zzzz) image

Glad you are out of hospital and getting better, GWRS. Hope it didn't hurt too much.

Sunny, reached 19° this afternoon. Weeded a shrub bed, pruned a little and tied up a Solanum. Unpacked my stored dahlias, they were all rotten image Had been in the garage packed in wood shavings. I can never keep stored ones, usually the mice get them. But when I was weeding I found evidence that some left in the ground over winter were alive. I usually leave dahlias in the ground, but this winter it went down to -12° so I wasn't sure they'd live.

Did you find a car, Topbird? I like looking at cars, but this time I'm getting a new one, a red Renault Megane Estate, it's coming in April. Present from my lovely Mum, left in her will a few years ago.

BL - only trying to shortlist possibilities at the moment - not spending any pennies just yet.

Ford B Max and Kia Venga seem to be ticking a few boxes.

GWRS hope you feeling comfortable, get well soon?

Busy I found mine were all alive this year too and much better than the plants had time to lift! How lovely to have a car from your mum.

Topbird assuming its a brand new one? Reason I ask is we had a very close shave recently, were about to buy a demo that had been used by the dealership owner blah blah blah. We went for lunch to think it over and decided to take it subject to my asking "has this car ever been in a smash"  Well there were red faces all round. Needless to say we left.

    Morningimage

Hope you have a speedy recovery GWRS - make sure you take it easy for a bit.

Another glorious day here yesterday - shame I spent most of it trapped inside. Am going to try and escape early this evening for the first bike ride of the season ???

    Good morning.

Yesterday morning OH and I took his Mother to RUH Bath for her check up,and then I was able to get out in the garden in the afternoon. Yayimage

I do the washing up at the pub Fairy.

I thought it was rather apt that I was sat on a barrel of Butcombe in the cellar. I go in there to cool down as it has the chillers  for the beer in there.image

My weekend off next weekend, so as you say Obelix  and Pat, can celebrate then.

    Have a good day all.image
