    Morning all.

Yes, Fg, mane is tamed, but she didn't cut it as short as last time.

Today I'm taking OH out to lunch as the rest of his birthday present. He didn't want 'things'. His birthday was 25th February. There's a place he wanted to go and it's in Suffolk.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all.

We're singing (in Finnish) for the fine people of Ripon today (well, the WI, actually).  Don't know what they'll make of it, but they did invite us...

Must go and get ready.  They're giving us lunch first image

    Have a good day!

    Morning all.  Afternoon Pat.

Bl, enjoy birthday lunch.  I'm having lunch with an ex-colleague today.  I haven't seen her for about six months so plenty to catch up on.

    Morning all.

Another dreech old morning out. I think I'll be in the polytunnel this morning, pottering.

I bought 3 dahlia Twinings After Eight at Rosemoor so I think I'll pot them up and keep out of the drizzle.

    Morningimage

Nice work on the pergola and bench WW & sounds as though Clari will soon have a fully functioning house!

Nice birdie & frog pics. We had long tailed tits on the feeder yesterday, lots of robins, blackbirds etc etc making nests in the hedge and there are a pair of jays who look as though they are setting up home somewhere close byimage

Good day in the garden yesterday. Sun is shining so I think it will be more of the same today. 20% off at W/rose Garden (Crocus) till Sunday & 15% off at David Austen so I need to finalise my tree and shrub list and get that in this week.

Where are you off to for lunch BL? Glad you enjoyed Bury yesterday. We're only 10 miles away - should have given me a ring & popped in for coffeeimage - next time perhaps?

    Good morning all.

Cool and grey here but already creeping into double figures and sun expected later.  Good if that works out as I'm on painting again this morning and then outside this pm.   Removed lots of very long thatch from the belt drive and blades yesterday and woke up the mower to go and cut more hay meadow with several more stops for unbunging.    Good job OH's golf kept hime out till late afternoon or he'd have had fits.

We won't be getting a donkey.  Too much of a tie but may adopt one.   I've a good mind to rent the field to someone else with horses but will probably try chatting to Luc some time cos he's being illogical and unfair.  !

So much going on with you all so just a few notes -

Wonky that bench is clever and looks good too.  Well done.

Mrs G we need before and after photos please.

PDoc - heal yourself first, both ears and mind, or you'll wear yourself out and be no use to anyone including yourself.   Well done with the OU.

Dove - my toe has only just stopped talking to me all day every day so make sure your friend rests hers for 6 weeks or it'll take months like mine.   Not good with sprng under way.

Busy and OH - enjoy your lunch.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're up to.

Obelixx - I've told her to make the most of the opportunity to put her feet up and be waited on image

All the downstairs flooring has been waxed and buffed this morning image  and a load of washing is drying.  Stock for tonight's soup has been made and shopping list has been written ... It's glorious out there -  I'm very tempted to just dash to the shops and then get out in the garden rather than go to tennis, but the number I have for the organiser appears to be the wrong one ........ they won't fall apart if I just don't turn up, will they?

Dove - I bashed mine at the begiining of October and thought it was just a bad bruise but it never healed as I continued dancing and walkies - used to painful feet I suppose.  Then I felt it snap properly again after Bonzo trippe me dup and that's when I stopped walkies altogether, missed a couple of weeks at dancing and kept my foot up as much as poss for the last 6 or 7 weeks.  Dreadful for the blubber factor but it's finally back to normal twinging.

As for tennis, what do you want us to say?  No, they'll assume you've not turned up for lack of a partner or yes they'll miss you in case someone else can't come?  I think there comes a point when life is too short and you have to do what makes you feel happy as longa s it's not hurtful to someone else..
