Hi folks, (welcome Jamie)  Sorry to hear about poorly peeps, tummies, ribs, toes etc.  hope you all feel better.

Congrats Fritt, hope mum and baby are both well.

Very dull and chilly here.  I've been in the garden all morning pricking seedlings and potting them up.  If they all survive I have no idea where they will go, anyone would think I had acres of garden rather than a small plot.

It must be something in the air Dove, hubby cleaned all our windows yesterday without being asked, unheard of.

BL - thanks for the info on the cars. image

Confused ourselves further yesterday by going to look at some more. New favourites are the Ford KA+ and a Mark 3 Honda Jazz.

I think I'm convinced that the Jazz is the best one because it has 'magic seats'. The rear seats fold down to make a large flat boot space (nothing new there - good for collecting sacks of compost). But - when they're in the upright position - you can also tip the seat pads backwards to make the footwell area twice as large. That's just designed for standing (quite a few) taller plants inimage

Of course, I told OH it meant he would be able to stand his bike in there - never mentioned plants image - so I think he's pretty sold too!

Just have to hope there are some year old / ex-demonstrators around at the right price come the autumnimage

I think a serious test of a good car is the ability to stand a new clematis upright, in its pot with canes.

Drum rolls and fanfares please.  The kitchen is finished - well almost.  They managed to supply one wall cupboard with the wrong finish on the side so he has to come back in 3 weeks to replace it and only then can he fill in the holes he made for its LED leccy supply.  Now I just have to put everything back - but not till I can bend without holding my ribs - and make the curtains which pull the colours together.

    Very swish, Obelixx.  image

Topbird, an additional plus for the Honda Jazz is that it's incredibly reliable.  And that boot is truly amazing... daughter and SIL have one.

    Welcome Jamie!
