We've been to the SM and I found lamb's kidneys.  Haven't see those for over 2 decades!  Bought the remaining 2 packs.   The other end of the SM had a peach tree but I resisted cos I need to check varieties before taking the plunge.

I might have to start making my own crumpets.   I have the rings.........

23C as we left so OH went in shorts and a short sleeved shirt.  I asked him if he felt under dressed as we arrived at SM to find France still firmly in layers and layers of winter wear.    Cooler tomorrow so my legs are staying under cover for a while yet.

I've checked over my lily pots and seen no naughty creatures but we probably borught a few eggs with us so once the lilies grow I shall be checking regularly.

Lots and lots of lovely cowslips in the verges now.    Isn't it grand?

It's turned quite grey and dreary outside here in Norfolk - the wind has got up and the heating has come on.

Wrap up warm Fairy, Joyce, LirI, Lily P and anyone else in northern parts. .... Speaking of which, I hope Bushman is ok ((hugs))

Has anyone seen Lesley too? Is she on holiday or at her parents?  Thought perhaps I'd missed her saying. Hope B'man is ok too Dove. He said he looked in from time to time, so perhaps he'll post again soon.

Don't envy you the kidneys Obelixx - no need to send me any leftovers  image  image

I think the green haze on the hawthorn made me feel a bit more springlike, although it was hard believing it was anywhere near spring when the rain was lashing at lunchtime! Those 'classic' spring flowers are so optimistic somehow image

Can you send some of that rain down here FG? The ground is really dry in places and the large natural pond round the corner is just a 6' deep hole with a slightly muddy bottom. We've not had much rain at all since October - just the odd day.

Hello all - still bobbing up and down on Loch Linnhe, should be there in a quarter of an hour.  Not too image making, I'm happy to say... I think they're expecting worse tomorrow.  Wish I could send a pic - will give it a try...

We haven't had that much wet weather either - for here anyway. It's been great!

The sea isn't my favourite thing either Dove. I like to admire it with my feet firmly on the ground...image

None too warm  now - took stuff out to the  bin - three degrees and that's without the wind. Perhaps we'll get some of those wintry showers right enough. Meatballs and pasta to warm us up though. Smallest fairylet has done a good job with them  image

Evening all. The weather seems to be turning; did my tomato seeds jinx it?
