    Hi all.

Just in from a fairly long stint in the garden, tired and achy, but in a good way.

This Spring thing is great isn't it?

Now need a bath and to plan dinner for the worker.

Oh Wonky how exciting! Not just that we use the same hair dresser but that you have a greenhouse! I love my greenhouse. Even if just to stand it and let the heat burn through the aches in my joints.

I wish you lived closer I'd have hired you to sort out my garden once and for all without an inch of hesitation. I have Thursday off; I hope it's dry because I want to have session #968 on deciding how I want it to be. I feel by the time his lordship is home I'll have changed my mind again.

I took advantage this morning of a ELECTRICAL plug socket that works (yay) and the dry weather (yay) to wash some essentials. How is it you ask them if they need any washing doing and they say no... only to ask the next day if they have clean pants for tomorrow? image

Somehow clothes on the line feels a long over due welcome sight! Here's hoping it hangs around for a few days. It has a wonderful effect on ones mood.

As did seeing this chap! Could a frog look any happier?

Evening all. Lovely to see spring pix - gorgeous Magnolia chicky  image

Not terribly spring like here with the wind and an unpleasant sleety shower,  but I caught a pic of something better than spring flowers a few minutes ago which has thrilled me  image

Sheer luck getting a pic. There's two of them in there....I'm ridiculously excited ....imageimage

Good luck with the greenhouse Wonks. Bit at a time remember... watch your mother doesn't fill it up when your back's turned....image

Hi Mrs G. Good to 'see' you again.

Hope you weren't too worn out today Yvie. Not sleeping is horrible.

What a pain with the field Obelixx. Why is nothing ever straightforward? image

I think the daylight argument is tricky. I believe when it was discussed last year on the radio, someone said that parts of the north of Scotland would be in darkness till after 10 am. Never simple is it?

imageSnap Chicky! This greeted me on the walk to work this morning. Shame the 'blossom' is so short-lived.

ps. there is a squirrel in there somewhere!

    Gorgeous birds.  Very envious.

Parts of Scandinavia don't get daylight till even later FG and the winter daylight hours are so short that far north it's probably immaterial whether sunrise is 9am or 11am when it comes to getting to work or managing land and animals.

Great frog pic Clari.  It's ridiculous how little things can please us when we haven't been able to enjoy them in a while.  Enjoy your laundry.

Absolutely Obs - they have that eternal problem of dark/light there. No wonder they get suicidal image

Dinner sounds image  as does Dove's  image

Gorgeous frog Clari. I had fun watching the ones in the puddles on Sunday. Simple pleasures indeed - and that includes getting washing out  image

Mine stayed on the line - no retrieval necessary.

Quite envious of the Magnolias. I've always liked them, but never had one in any garden. Didn't really have room in the garden round the corner, and haven't stayed long enough anywhere else to consider planting one! They really need a spot to 'show off' I think. image

I've been very envious of everyone here when they've talked about long tailed tits in the garden, as I've had none here in the four years I've been in the house.  They must have heard me moaning about it  image
