Morning Daisy, having an early morning cuppa ☕, been awake a while but stayed in bed hoping to drop off again, . Gave in and got up half an hour ago.
Hi Pat, rest up that poorly toe. Is it broken or badly bruised? Very sore either way, and changing colour maybe? I've had banged toes turn black with bruising.
Hi Daisy and Kitty. yes Queensland is feeling it. I'll be watching the evening news with interest. Hope no deaths.
My toe actually feels a bit better - have swept and mopped the floor this morning. Nothing like a clean living room to cheer you up . HRH has been snoring through the whole exercise, but she doesn't like getting her delicate little poodle toes wet!
I'm having a relaxing afternoon now watching some interesting orchestra on Mezzo Live (While Hubby sleeps off his chiropractic session). All good here.
Sorry, I didn't expect you to still be on, so I didn't check. It's just after 4pm here, so not long til the evening news and that will be soon enough to see. How they're going in Queensland. They tend to repeat themselves a bit.
Morning Although must feel like afternoon already for Kitty.
Good luck getting through the next couple of days LG .....endings are always tricky, but there's a beginning about to start
Got home in the light yesterday . But a bit cold/drizzly by then (had been lovely earlier) for a bike ride so pricked out some seedlings in the GH instead. First midweek gardening of the year ......woop woop . Not sure if they will survive - very leggy zinnias that I had to bury up to their necks. Don't grow them very often, so must remember next year that they are like Cosmos and need sowing later. Will pop over to the GH as soon as the sun rises to check how they are doing. Think that might just count as the second midweek gardening of the year
Good morning all G'day Pat Sorry about the lack of sleep folks - hope you don't have to be too busy today.
Weve had some rain overnight - that'll water in the planting I did yesterday
Nothing like the 39" that cyclone has dumped on Northern Australia ... Unimaginable ... Some awful clearing up to be done. Thank goodness it appears that there's been no loss of life.

Sat in the kitchen, watching the early morning news, cyclone Debbie clean up is featured, good that there were no fatalities.
