Spag bol here too Dove but with a ragu from the freezer.   I do big batches and then freeze portions.   Easy dinner before dance class or after along day outside.

I have been to LIDL!  Gave up going in Belgium cos if you didn't get there the minute the shop opened all the specials went.  Was looking for sets of 4 seed trays with cells and lids for 3.99€ and came out with two tunnel cloches and 2 cold frames too.   Thence to the usual supermarket for fish and meat for the weekend and freezer and veggies for the weekend and 10 raspberry plants........

Tried Gamme Vert on the way home but they have no more peanuts now till next winter but can order me some......

Home to find the plumber has finished in the pantry and I now have a fully plumbed sink large enough to soak oven shelves plus a fully plumbed dishwasher and washing machine.   A proper towel radiator has been installed in the bathroom but not yet connected.  He's had to rush off to an emergency but will be back tomorrow pm.

Meanwhile, chappies have almost finished doing the insulation and wallboard in the annex so just the leccy man and tiler to go now and we'll be clean and civilised and organised out there.

Sorry, no cake or biccies Dove but I did treat myself to a naughty wee bar of chocolate while shopping.

Obbelix - I try cooking large batches in order to freeze some  - quite often a whole batch disappears into OH - he is a skinny fellow with hollow legs image

    Afternoon all.

Don't forget before and after photos Wonky. image

    Woodchip all movedimage

It's rapidly becoming that time of year when everywhere you look, you see things which need doing. Plants to move, seeds to sow .

This year I am determined to get all the plants I've grown, / bought, planted in the ground . I will, honest.image

Email asking me to work on March 13th. Hubby's 60th birthday, so it was politely declined.

Wonkie, what are your planting plans for the pergola?   Will it support a hammock? image

Evening all - chilly here, three degrees, and sleety snow showers. Hey ho - been bonny today htough and I took some photos earlier which I've just been sorting. Fatty McFatface was on the fence and posed obligingly. Think he was actually hoping for some cheese or something when  he saw me out there image

Dove - I've been doing the same with clematis for all the fences. They're absolutely vital for the garden after all....image

Nice big slice for me please Joyce image

I can manage that befre dinner - goulash tootling away in the slow cooker. Young fairylet has been prepping it and doing the washing. Marvellous  image

Sounds like you're making plenty of progress, Obelixx, despite all the van men clogging up the drive!

Sounds 'pergola-like' enough  to me Wonks. You go girl  image

    Whatcha growing on it?

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hope we get photos of Wonky's pergola when it's done.

Done pruning, still lots more to do and OH has put the pane back in the GH.

Cod in tomato sauce tonight, with pasta, fennel and runner beans. Tomatoes for the sauce were ones that I froze whole last summer.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
