Hello Lilyp and Fairy. I'm feeling really buoyed up with getting some rain. Maybe it calls for a rain dance? Pity old age has arrived before it. We should go for a drive out the back tomorrow to see what the dams are like. Especially good if Hubby brings his Drone.image

Sorry to hear the passport is still a problem lilyp.

Fairy I hope you get good hiking weather next week.

I haven't heard from Lyn either. It must be time for some more jigsaw puzzle photos of her lovely dog.

image I'm sorry I disappeared without letting you know.  If any regulars stop posting I always wonder why and worry about them so I've been very unfair.  My Dad is very ill so I've been travelling up and down to see him and give my Mum a hand (he still runs her ragged wanting another drink, more sugar in it, a cooler duvet etc, etc).  I'm off again this Friday.

I have been popping in from time to time but can't keep up with you all.  Hosta I hope you get an appointment soon. What a shame about Findlay's passport LilyPimage

At least most of the snow has gone now but it's very cold and frosty as Fairy said.  It was quite a shock yesterday morning when we had 3 or 4 inches.  The dog loves itimage.

    Morning all.

Thanks for the kind wishes one and all.

I eventually fell asleep around 4am, so feel poooo.

Called the Doc. I'm seeing her on Friday morning. I could have seen " someone else " today, but I'd rather see my "own " doctor.

Other friends have mentioned "stones". The oddest thing is when it goes, it's gone. Hardly any sign of any residual pain .It's like a switch being flipped.

Yet more rain here overnight and it's pretty grim looking out there now.

    Devon.

Lesley.  Thoughts are with you at a difficult time.  Tiring driving up and down and keeping two households going.

Hosta, sorry to hear you were feeling poorly yesterday,  hope you get things sorted. Like others have said a trip to the doctors........said with wagging fingerimage

Not seen Lesley for awhile.......not seen DD either hope they're  both OK.

Often wonder how Panda is too.

Best  get a wriggle on,  still in dressing gown and I want to fling the hoover round. Then get on with knitting for poppet.

Morning all. Sunshine, but it's starting to cloud over. I must prune Felicité et Perpetué and climbing Cecile Brunner. F & P is full of dead wood that you can't cut out in summer because of all the leaves, it's very vigorous. Prickly. image

When I read Hosta's post I thought it could be kidney stones, then read that others thought so too. The intense pain is usually in the back or side going to the groin, but both my sons have had them even when they were quite young (congenital) and they complained of very severe abdominal pain which then went. If there is a small sharp stone it can hurt badly in the ureter and then be passed out so the pain goes. Just a thought, but it may be something completely different or just a gut spasm and nothing to worry about.

Good to see you Lesley - you've been missed.  Sorry to hear about your Dad though ....keep strong, and know that we are all thinking of you.
