Hi Chicky - if I remember correctly I think we decided that high summer was going to be the best time to see that border ... unless anyone knows different
it's been a tiring day so I'll sign out for now ........... feet up and knitting is the way forward ... see you later folks ...
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hi everyone, just managed to read back. I have often felt bad at not mentioning names in my posts, problem is there are so many of us, and I use an iPad, so I can't "go back" when writing and have usually got muddled as to who it was who said something I think we all do pretty well and I have had such support from this thread I couldn't feel anything but warmth from the comments.
so, power is back on ( now who was that?) hares have been mentioned, Fairy saw them, Hosta has had it dry, and the rest has all flown out and I can't go back.
For anyone who is still up "goodnight" , sleep well and sweet dreams. I am just hoping not to cough!

OH suggested I need a tablet so I can read online recipes in the kitchen. Or I could just carry my laptop in there..... Coping with its idiosyncrasies is quite enough thanks.
After seeing pics of hellebores on teh photos thread I have ordered some seeds from the RHS list. No idea if I'll get them or what they'll turn out to be but they can't be any less interesting than the very dull plain creamy white ones they're selling here for 16 or 18€ a pot! I've also asked for liriodendron and sarcococca seeds.
Hope you get your flights Busy but it's not looking too promising. Fingers crossed.
Off to bed now. Sweet dreams all.
